WWE began teasing a Dean Ambrose heel turn against the Shield on Raw this week.
WWE originally planned for Ambrose to turn on the Shield a few months ago before his injury, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, so that was at least the plan at one point. Whether or not WWE decides to continue that storyline now that Ambrose is back remains to be seen, but they’re obviously teasing it.
The original plan was for Ambrose to wrestle Seth Rollins at WrestleMania this year, but that had to be scrapped when Ambrose suffered a torn triceps in December.
