WWE previously announced that Edge would host a Cutting Edge segment on SmackDown 1000 this Tuesday, but that announcement has been deleted from WWE.com and WWE’s social media for some reason, leading to speculation that Edge has been pulled from the show. However, PWInsider says that Edge is still scheduled for the show.
Booker T and The Big Show are also booked for the show, PWInsider says.
WWE was trying to get The Rock for the show, but there has been no announcement or any news about that recently. The Rock has actually been in London since last week shooting the upcoming Fast and Furious spinoff, Hobbs and Shaw, so as of now, it doesn’t seem like he’s going to be there in person. That of course doesn’t rule out some sort of segment done via video.
