LAX Pulled From EVOLVE Shows
Impact Tag Team Champions LAX were scheduled to wrestle at two EVOLVE shows next month, but head of EVOLVE Gabe Sapolsky announced today that Impact has pulled LAX from the shows. It’s not known yet why they were pulled.
Interestingly, they were booked to wrestle in two matches against NXT’s Street Profits, who are the current EVOLVE Tag Team Champions. The two now canceled matches were:
– EVOLVE Tag Team Championship Match: Street Profits (c) vs. LAX vs. AR Fox & Leon Ruff
– LAX & Austin Theory vs. Street Profits & Darby Allin
Impact Wrestling has pulled LAX off the 12/15 & 16 dates. Working on replacements now. I was just informed. Our apologies to the fans.

Interest in Masato Tanaka
Impact had interest in bringing in former ECW World Champion Masato Tanaka around January, possibly for their Homecoming PPV and TV taping, according to PWInsider. Unfortunately, Tanaka will be “in and out” of the US after a few dates next month, according to PWInsider, so that doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen.
Tanaka will be wrestling in the US for the first time since 2014, at a couple of indie dates at the end of next month.
