As noted before, WWE announced during this week’s episode of RAW that Lars Sullivan, EC3, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, and Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) will be making their official main roster debuts within the near future.
Post Wrestling’s John Pollock reported that the official reason why WWE officials decided on this group of talent instead of including more notable top tier NXT stars was due to the company wanting to keep NXT’s top stars on the brand to help ticket sales for upcoming NXT house shows and tours. Pollock also reported WWE officials focused more on talents that had strong characters as the basis for this newest batch of call-ups.
It was also reported that WWE currently does not have any plans for more call-ups to be made for the immediate future.
