WWE Network Hidden Gems Addition; First of Three This Week

Unlike previous weeks, WWE announced they will be uploading new Hidden Gems content to the WWE Network for three consecutive days this week.

Thursday’s addition to WWE Network’s Hidden Gems series is Iron Man match themed, featuring one classic match.

This gem is from a September 18, 2011 event from Florida Championship Wrestling featuring a FCW 15 Championship 30 minute Iron Man match of Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins (c).

FCW 09/18/2011 – Building an Iron Man

The FCW 15 Championship is on the line when Seth Rollins takes on Dean Ambrose in a 30 minute Iron Man Match.

WWE will be uploading more new content to the Network’s Hidden Gems series this Friday and Saturday.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Rey Fenix is reported to be returning to in-ring action very soon, according to PWInsider. Fenix has been out of action for MLW and other promotions since suffering a groin injury during an event for CMLL on November 23rd.

NJPW announced they will be holding a two-event tour of the United States, called New Beginning USA, from January 30th to February 1st. The first event takes place on January 30th at the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California and the second event takes place on February 1st at the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

World of Sport is reported to have cancelled another event for next year’s tour of the United Kingdom, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Dave Meltzer reported a planned event for January 27th in Aberdeen, Scotland was recently canceled due to very poor ticket sales even after the original venue was changed to a smaller capacity venue.
