BJ Whitmer Departs from ROH Over Management Issues

BJ Whitmer reportedly has left Ring of Honor over lingering management issues, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet and PWInsider.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that Whitmer tendered his resignation yesterday due to his growing unhappiness with the company’s management during the past several months.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that an email sent by Whitmer to ROH’s roster stated that his issues had been “brewing since September” and he felt he was being “treated with utter disrespect” by the company’s management during that time period. Johnson reported that a big cause of friction between the two sides was an incident involving an invitation sent by WWE to Whitmer to be a guest coach for their Performance Center. Whitmer was preparing to accept the invitation before ROH got involved and refused to approve of his appearance.
