NJPW President Harold Meij Comments on Possible Partnership Between NJPW and AEW

Yahoo! Japan held a recent interview with New Japan Pro Wrestling president Harold Meij and one of the topics discussed included his thoughts on a potential future partnership between NJPW and All Elite Wrestling.

“AEW is a new organization to start from now and I do not know what kind of relationship we would make. I think that it is necessary to figure out what policy they would develop on pro wrestling.”

WWE Poll Asks Fans Which Match was Their Favorite at the Royal Rumble

WWE held a recent poll on Twitter asking fans which match was their favorite from last Sunday’s Royal Rumble event. The choices available were Men’s Royal Rumble match, Women’s Royal Rumble match, Universal Championship match, and RAW Women’s Championship match.

The Men’s Royal Rumble match won with 37% of the fan vote, followed by the Women’s Royal Rumble match with 30% of the vote.

Major League Wrestling and Sammy Guevara have recently parted ways, according to PWInsider. It was reported that this was due to Guevara double-booking himself on the same dates as several MLW events, which lead to MLW officials feeling they had no real option available to use him consistently.

Bea Priestley is currently rumored to be signing a possible contract with All Elite Wrestling after recently turning down an offer from WWE, according to the Wrestling Observer Radio.

KUSHIDA officially ended his tenure with New Japan Pro Wrestling following today’s Road to The New Beginning 2019 event in Tokyo, Japan. The main event featured a non-title match between KUSHIDA and IWGP Heavyweight champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, won by Tanahashi via submission.
