Future of WWE Network series Botch Club Currently in Doubt

As noted before, Botch Club was among the four new original series that debuted last month on the WWE Network. The future of the series is now in doubt based on a recent tweet by Karl Anderson that implied WWE currently has no plans to tape any new episodes for the show.

Botch Club was WWE’s version of the very popular online Botchamania series.


Charlotte Flair Defamation Lawsuit Update

As noted before, Charlotte Flair’s ex-husband Riki Paul Johnson filed a lawsuit against Charlotte, Ric Flair, WWE, and author Brian Shields in regards to allegations of defamation made in the 2017 biographical book Second Nature.

In an update to the status of the lawsuit, PWInsider reported that an extension to file an amended lawsuit against the Flairs and WWE was granted to Riki Paul Johnson on January 10th.

It was reported that Johnson now has until March 15th to file a new lawsuit and the defendants now have until March 28th to respond to the original lawsuit if the amended lawsuit is not filed in time to the U.S. District Court, Western District of North Carolina. If the amended lawsuit is filed, the defendants will be given a new response date in the future.
