John Cena is currently in talks to star in an upcoming “Suicide Squad” sequel alongside Idris Elba and Margot Robbie, according to Variety.
The movie will be written and directed by James Gunn, who wrote and directed the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, which featured Batista.
It’s unknown which character Cena would play if he’s cast for the role.
The movie is scheduled to go into production this fall and will be released in theaters in the US on August 6, 2021.
