Lars Sullivan has apologized after controversial posts he made on the bodybuilding.com forum from ~2008-2013 were unearthed.
In a statement to Wrestling Inc., Lars said:
There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.
A post on Reddit on Wednesday compiled several of his posts from the forum, including some racist comments about black people and Muslims, among other things. The posts were made from 2008-2013, before he joined WWE.
The controversy began to blow up even more when Big E posted about the Reddit thread on Twitter on Wednesday, saying “Many are aware. If true, he has to bear the albatross of being a bigot & working in a company that is now filled with minorities.”

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE was already aware of the posts before he was hired and Lars already apologized for them and showed remorse.
