The Undertaker showed up at Raw on Monday to help Roman Reigns and set up a match at the Extreme Rules PPV, where he and Reigns will team up to face Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.
This match was actually planned before Super ShowDown, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, so it wasn’t something that they just decided to do this week based on falling numbers. Some also speculated that The Undertaker wanted to quickly redeem himself after a bad match with Goldberg at Super ShowDown, but that also doesn’t exactly appear to be the case.
Dave Meltzer speculated in the Observer that this could also lead to an Undertaker match at SummerSlam (August 11), since it would be strange to have Undertaker wrestle at a secondary PPV and not at SummerSlam.
