After unofficially returning under a mask at Slammiversary two weeks ago to gore Michael Elgin, Rhyno made his official return to Impact last night at Impact’s TV tapings in Windsor, Ontario at St. Clair College.
A masked man showed up at last night’s tapings and attempted to attack Elgin again, but Elgin was able to take him out. Elgin then went to unmask the man, but it wasn’t Rhyno after all and the actual Rhyno showed up behind Elgin without a mask to give him a gore.

He’ll likely go back to using the name Rhino, which is the spelling he used in ECW and during his original TNA run from 2005-2010, because WWE owns the rights to “Rhyno.”
His WWE contract officially expired on July 17, which is why he showed up under the mask and never unmasked himself at Slammiversary.
