NXT TakeOver: WarGames Kickoff Panel Revealed

WWE announced that Charly Caruso, Sam Roberts, and Pat McAfee will be the panelists for the Kickoff show of tonight’s NXT TakeOver: WarGames event.

NXT TakeOver: WarGames airs live tonight on the WWE Network starting at 6:30PM EST for the Kickoff show and 7:00PM EST for the main show.

This past Tuesday’s episode of WWE Backstage drew 180,000 viewers on FS1, up from last week’s 100,000 viewers. This episode featured the official debut of CM Punk as a member of the show following last week’s teaser debut.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the quarter-hour viewership breakdown for this week’s episode was 195,000 viewers for the start, 184,000 viewers for the second segment, 175,000 viewers for the third segment, and 165,000 viewers for the final segment.

Meltzer also speculated that if WWE Backstage manages to generate a weekly viewership average of around 125,000 going forward, FOX likely will consider the show a solid success overall given the network and time slot circumstances.
