Tonight’s Raw will be the final WWE show on Sky Sports, where WWE programming has aired in the UK for the past 30 years.
Starting on Friday with SmackDown, WWE programming will move to its new home in the UK and Ireland, BT Sport. WWE announced that they they had signed a multi-year deal with BT Sport in June.
Raw and SmackDown will air live every week on BT Sport, starting with SmackDown this Friday night / Saturday morning at 1 AM local time, and WWE PPVs will be available on BT Sport Box Office.
The deal means that WWE will be available in far fewer homes in the UK and Ireland. Sky Sports is in 8.56 million homes, while BT Sport is in 2.19 million homes, according to Dave Meltzer.
