WWE Network’s “free tier” has quietly launched and can be viewed when not signed into an account.
The content is essentially the same videos that are released on WWE’s YouTube channel and WWE.com. Videos that require a WWE Network subscription are shown with a “lock” icon.
The free tier is still in beta testing ahead of an “official” launch some time within the next week, according to PWInsider.
In September, WWE co-president George Barrios said in an interview that long-planned premium and free tiers would be “coming soon, in weeks and not months.”
The premium and free tiers were originally planned to launch together in January 2020, according to PWInsider. There’s no word on the status of the premium tier as of now.
