Taya Valkyrie Denies Rumors of Her Leaving Impact Wrestling Soon

Taya Valkyrie was in the crowd this past Sunday at the Royal Rumble, leading to rumors that she may be WWE-bound.

Valkyrie stated on Twitter that the reason for her appearance in the crowd was only because she wanted to see her husband John Morrison in a WWE ring live for the first time ever. She also wanted people to stop assuming that means she is leaving Impact Wrestling soon.

Taya’s current contract with Impact Wrestling is reportedly set to expire in December 2020.

Major League Wrestling officials reportedly are currently working on plans to add a Trios Championship to the company’s set of title belts at some point in the future, according to PWInider.

MLW also reportedly has put their plans regarding their new Women’s division on hold due to a recent injury to Zeda Zhang, who was their first signing for the division, according to PWInsider.

MLW announced three new matches for the card of their Fightland 2020 event on February 1st in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:
– Zenshi vs. El Lindaman
– Mance Warner vs. Gino Medina
– Richard Holliday vs. mystery competitor to be named by Mance Warner
