As noted before, Will Ospreay was rumored to have suffered an ankle injury during his match against Hiromu Takahashi for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship at Night 1 of Wrestle Kingdom 14 this past Saturday in Tokyo, Japan.
Ospreay confirmed on Twitter that he did suffer a heel injury at the event but provided no other details.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Metzer reported that Ospreay recently had x-rays taken to determine the severity of his heel injury. Despite the injury, Ospreay did compete in limited action at NJPW’s New Year Dash event on Monday in Tokyo, Japan.
