The March 11th episodes of AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT saw both shows decline in viewership with AEW’s decline being the bigger of the two. AEW also maintained their advantage over NXT in both overall viewership and key demographic rankings.

The results of the quarter-hour segment breakdowns were not revealed in this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter but Dave Meltzer reported that AEW’s biggest declines were with younger viewers across the key demographic groups, especially with teenagers at a 31.3 percent drop. NXT reportedly was less affected by the coronavirus-related news with all key demographic groups except for the 18-34 group remaining steady overall. NXT’s 18-34 demographic group reportedly had a decline of around 25 percent compared to last week.

Canadian Viewership for AEW’s March 4 Show

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the March 4th episode of AEW Dynamite did not rank in the Top 10 sports programming for the night in Canada and as a result, the viewership for that episode is currently not known.

Meltzer reported that the tenth ranked sports programming for March 4th drew 102,000 viewers meaning that AEW’s show drew less than that for viewers.
