WWE announced tonight on SmackDown that the two Money in the Bank ladder matches at this year’s Money in the Bank PPV will take place at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT.
As explained by WWE.com: “The match begins on the ground floor of WWE Headquarters, but the briefcases – containing contracts for a championship match anytime, anyplace – will be hanging all the way up on the roof of the corporate tower.”
Earlier this week, WWE taped content on top of the roof of WWE Headquarters, so it’s possible that the matches may have already been taped. It’s also possible that they were just taping footage to use to promote the matches.
WWE is using the tagline, “Climb the Corporate Ladder.”
