Sarah Logan, who was among the several wrestlers that were released by WWE last week, was actually originally booked for last night’s Raw despite her release, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Logan was part of the original Raw script and was set to be on the show in some capacity, but at some point after the show started, someone made the call to not use her.
WWE’s mentality, Meltzer said, is that some of the released wrestlers may still be used since they’re being paid for 90 days after their releases.
Drake Maverick is another wrestler who will still be on TV despite his release. Maverick was booked for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship tournament before his release and will still wrestle in at least three tournament matches, he said. He’s scheduled to face Jake Atlas this Wednesday on NXT.
