Priest vs. Balor was pretty good. Gargano vs. Lee was very good despite it dragging near the end. Backlot Brawl was another cinematic match swing and miss by NXT. Kross vs. Ciampa was pretty good. Women’s title match was great despite the fluke finish for the title change. TakeOver was enjoyable overall but in the lower tier for all-time TakeOvers.

Best – Street Profits vs. Viking Raiders decathlon segment.
Worst – Ending of Flair vs. Asuka match.
Show Notes – Opening women’s segment was boring. Women’s Triple Threat tag match was pretty good. Peep Show segment was good. The decathlon was both the best and dumbest thing from this Street Profits and Viking Raiders feud. Triple Threat match was pretty good despite the weak finish. Kurt Angle’s promo sounded way too scripted and phony. Flair vs. Asuka was pretty good despite dragging too long and the terrible ending. This week’s episode was somewhat good despite some questionable booking issues.

Robert Stone’s downward spiral into a disorderly mess has been interesting. Grimes vs. Balor was pretty good. El Hijo Del Phantasmo and Drake Maverick segment was very good despite not being a fan of Phantasmo’s unmasking nor his new name. The show’s end with Scarlett Bordeaux and the hourglass was cool. This week’s episode was mostly good overall.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown (June 12)
* New Day vs. Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura – 2.5
* Intercontinental Championship Tournament Finals – Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles – 4.0

Worst – The piss throwing moment from the contract signing segment.
Show Notes – Opening contract signing segment between Jeff Hardy and Sheamus was decent until the terrible piss throw spot happened. The Intercontinental title hype video was great. Bryan vs. Styles was amazing and one of the best WWE TV matches in recent months. Women’s tag title segment was decent. 6-man tag match was decent at best. This week’s episode was pretty good overall despite being weak as a go-home show.

Overall – 2.5
Best – Sonny Kiss vs. Christopher Daniels match.
Worst – Low Rider & Fuego del Sol vs. SCU match.
Show Notes – Alan Angels becoming the newest member of the Dark Order was interesting. Kiss vs. Daniels and Cutler & Avalon vs. Jurassic Express were the highlight matches of the show. This week’s episode was average overall.

Worst – The massacre of oranges at the hands of Chris Jericho.
Show Notes – Butcher & Blade vs. FTR was the best match B&B have had in AEW so far. Natural Nightmares interview segment was decent. Women’s tag match was very good.
