More on Swamp Fight Match at Extreme Rules

During the June 26th episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Universal Champion Braun Strowman challenged Bray Wyatt to a non-title Swamp Fight match at Extreme Rules later this month.

WrestlingInc.com reported that taping for this match is currently scheduled to take place during this week and stunt coordinator Ellis Edwards will be involved in the match’s production. Edwards reportedly will be involved with several of the stunts planned, although not every stunt will be big, and also will be making sure stunts are performed in a safe manner. Edwards previously worked with Strowman for the ring collapse stunt with The Big Show and the ambulance flip stunt with Roman Reigns in 2017.

In regards to the Wyatt vs. Strowman feud, it was reported that WWE officials are going with a “Three Faces of Wyatt” theme. Wyatt lost the first match in his “Firefly Fun House” persona at Money in the Bank and will be in his “Eater of Worlds” persona for this upcoming match at Extreme Rules. The current plan is for Wyatt to be victorious at Extreme Rules and for the ending to set up a rubber match between the two at SummerSlam. This third match reportedly is planned to be a regular match and would feature Wyatt in his “Fiend” persona.

It was also reported that the producers for this Swamp Fight will be Wyatt, Jeremy Borash, and Triple H. Wyatt reportedly will be heavily involved in the layout of the match.
