Angel Garza suffered a legitimate injury during his and Andrade’s Raw Tag Team title match against the Street Profits last night at Clash of Champions.
The injury caused another rushed/botched WWE finish, where the referee abruptly ended the match and counted to three despite Andrade kicking out at a two.
According to PWInsider, the latest word is that the injury is believed to either be a quadriceps tear or a hip injury. Garza is scheduled to undergo an MRI today to determine the diagnosis.
The injury appeared to happen when Garza hit Montez Ford with a high knee to the face. He went down in pain immediately after that move, the referee put up an “X” symbol and Garza rolled to the outside, where officials checked on him.
