As noted before, WWE was hit with another coronavirus outbreak at their Performance Center this past weekend. The number of NXT and developmental talent who tested positive for the coronavirus is currently not known but WWE did go forward with still having fans attend Wednesday’s taping of NXT.
Fightful Select reported (via 411Mania.com) that the possible cause of WWE’s latest outbreak might have been a training event held in-house this past Friday. It was reported that NXT officials hold these training events on a regular basis to track how far along their NXT talent are with their development.
It was also reported that many of those who attended last Friday’s training event were told to quarantine themselves and others who were not asked to attend were kept “in the dark” regarding the situation at the Performance Center. Many of those not informed were also asked to come in and help act as a crowd for NXT’s Halloween Havoc themed episode.
It was also reported that WWE does not test their talent daily but do perform COVID-19 tests at least twice a week.
