More on Jungle Boy vs. Dax Harwood Match on AEW Dynamite

This past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a singles match between Jungle Boy and FTR’s Dax Harwood.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Harwood was the person who suggested the match and storyline angle to Tony Khan. Meltzer also reported that Harwood was also the person who put together the match with the goal to make Jungle Boy come off as a superstar babyface for the company.

Harwood reportedly also wanted to give Jungle Boy the rub of being the first person to get a victory over him in AEW, especially with a submission finish.

Penta El Zero M AEW Status Update

As noted before, Penta El Zero M has been out of action for AEW since mid-December due to a leg injury that he had been dealing with for some time in 2020.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Penta El Zero M recently recovered from his leg injury but is currently dealing with work visa issues preventing his return to the company for the forseeable future.
