Heather By Elegance vs. Elayna Black

Last week, because she’s a good friend, M by Elegance volunteered Heather by Elegance to take on Elayna Black. Heather didn’t seem too happy about it, but here she is. Black is hoping this will get her a step closer to being M’s first title defence of the Knockouts TV Title.

Black took control off the top, sending Heather to the ropes then knocking her through them to the outside. Heather slipped under the ring and Mr Elegance distracted Black so that she could trip up Black through the apron. She followed that up with a crossbody from the ringpost before throwing Black back in.

Heather kept the momentum on her side, stomping a clubbing Black around the ring. Heather used a modified octopus to stretch the arm of Black, but Black stood up and Samona Dropped her to the mat. Black threw some clotheslines and then a running knee to Heather’s skull.

Black suplexed Heather and then went for a Blackout, but Heather kicked her in the arm to disrupt the process. Heather went up top, but Black moved. Heather fell right into a Blackout and that was it. Black wins.

Winner: Elayna Black via Pinfall.

Backstage: Ryan Nemeth

Backstage, Gia Miller interviewed Ryan Nemeth who said that he was the victim of a heinous assault last week. Fortunately, his brother Nic is a master detective and has determined that the attacker was Matt Hardy. When asked for evidence, Ryan claimed he may not have seen him with his eyes or heard him with his ears, but he’s pretty sure it was Matt. So, he might get involved in the match tonight.

Backstage: Jason Hotch, Daria Rae, Mila Moore

Back from break, Jason Hotch was wandering around the back and Daria Rae told him that Mustafa Ali called and asked her to set up Hotch vs Special Agent 0 with Mila Moore as the special guest referee. So, she did that and we’ll see it later.

In-Ring: Frankie Kazarian, Moose

Because my karma seems to have shifted in the last week, next up was The King’s Speech with Frakie Kazarian. Kaz came to the ring with Avery Styles and said that tonight is a Coronation. He then reminded us that he beat Moose at Lockdown, which means he’s the King of TNA. To prove this, he uncovered a crown and declared himself king.

Then, in a shocking and completely unexpected move, Moose arrived with a mic. He told Kaz he looked ridiculous in that cheap looking crown. He then shouted out Canadian retailer Dollarama (like Dollar Tree for those in the US), which got a huge pop and chant for some reason. Moose said that Kaz got lucky at lockdown and actually didn’t beat him.

Moose then did the unthinkable and called Kaz a bitch. Kaz responded saying that he knows that Moose is just out here angling for another match. Moose said, I sure am! Then he challenged Kaz for next week. Kaz said that he’s got nothing left to prove against Moose and asked him to leave.

Moose said that a real King would give him the match and I assume in Memphis Jerry Lawler nodded vigourously. Moose said that no one will recognize him as king unless he gives him the match (I don’t know why that would be, but he said it) and Kazarian agreed, as long as Moose puts his TNA career on the line.

Moose agreed and told Kaz to bring the crown because when Moose wins, he’s going to do whatever he wants with it. Ew.

Backstage: Gabby Forza

Back from break, Gabby Forza was interviewed about her Knockouts Title Match tonight. To sum up: She’s stoked. She knows she jumped the queue, but she’s going to make the most of this opportunity.

Vacant TNA X-Division Championship Qualifier Match
Fabian Aichner vs. Rohit Raju

At Bound For Glory there will be a six-way match for the currently vacant X-Division Title. Last week KC Navarro punched his ticket and the winner of this bout will be also added to the match. Navarro joined commentary for this match.

Raju got aggressive off the top, but Aichner was able to neatly counter and wrestle him to the mat. Aichner grabbed a headlock, but Raju kicked his way out. Aichner caught Raju with a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker, but Raju raked the eyes and sent him to the outside. Raju went for a dropkick, but Aichner dodged it and Raju sent him into the steel steps.

Back in the ring, Aichner started throwing strikes but Raju tripped him up. Aichner came back with some open-hand slaps and then a cross body off the ropes. He threw some elbows in the corner and then hit a moonsault on Raju for a two count. Raju caught him with a surprise knee and then planted Aichner head first on the mat for a two count of his own.

Raju stomped Aichner then sent him to the corner. Raju then hit Aichner with a tornado DDT for another two. Raju went up top, but Aichner dodged it and levelled him with a clothesline. Aichner then hit the Hasta La Vista powerbomb and that was it. Aichner gets into the match at Bound For Glory.

Winner: Fabian Aichner via Pinfall.

A taped Zoey Serranno vignette aired next. She ran down her career highlights up until her injury. Serranno said that she was always making everyone else happy, but since coming to TNA that’s all changed. She is going to be true to who she is, and that would be the best in the Knockouts division.

Special Guest Referee Match
Jason Hotch vs. Special Agent Zero

So yeah, the special guest referee for this match is Mila Moore and with the rest of Order 4 at ringside, Hotch may just fall victim to the damn numbers game. John Skylar joined commentary for the match.

Zero jumped Hotch from behind off of Moore calling for an early bell and clubbed him into the corner. Zero threw Hotch across the ring and then suplexed him while Commentary discussed Skylar’s mixed feelings about Hotch, Order 4 and Lockdown.

Zero whipped Hotch into the corner, and then punched him in the gut a few times. He hit Hotch with a back elbow and then scoop slammed him. Zero went for a cover, but Hotch kicked out. Hotch managed to come up swinging and hit Zero with an insiguri. Moore took her time with the count, only getting to one before Zero kicked out.

Zero came back with a powerslam and then a clothesline. Zero made the cover and Moore counted much faster to two when Hotch kicked out. Zero went back to clubbing hotch on the ropes while Moore stared off into the middle distance. Hotch started kicking Zero in the corner and Moore immediately broke it up.

Zerop military pressed Hotch, who wriggled out and started with the chops and kicks. He hit a tornado DDT on Zero and went up top. He nailed Zero with a frog splash, but Moore checked her nails instead of making the count. Tasha Steels then got into the ring and took down Moore, tearing off her ref’s shirt. Moore ran to the back and Steels put on the jersey.

Hotch then quickly rolled up Zero and Steels made a fast count to give Hotch the “win.”

Backstage: Matt Hardy, Leon Slater, Jason Hotch

Backstage, Matt Hardy was doing jumping jacks to prepare for his match later in the evening. Leon Slater showed up and said that he’s got Matt’s back if Ryan Nemeth tries to get involved. Slater then walked away and ran into Jason Hotch. Hotch said that at Boud For Glory they will both get their titles.

TNA Knockouts World Championship
Gabby Forza vs. Xia Brookside (c)

Daria Rae doesn’t want Indi Hartwell anywhere near The TNA Knockouts World Championship, even though she asked really nicely last week. Instead, Rae named Gabby Forza as the next in line for a shot at Xia Brookside and the title. Forza looks to take advantage of this surprise opportunity and Brookside looks to hurt her about it because she’s all nasty and such.

Forza had some strength on Brookside which helpedher toss Brookside to the mat off the bell. Brookside grabbed a headlock, but Forza just picked her up and threw her off the ropes for a shoulder. Forza hoisted Brookside up in a military press and Brookside raked her eyes to get out of it.

They traded strikes in the corner and Brookside hit Forza with a running elbow. She hit a meteora in the corner and went to pull Forza up, but Forza pulled her into the turnbuckle instead. Forza went back to the press and transitioned into an airplane spin into a samoan drop.

Brookside tried to bail from the ring, but Forza pulled her back. She threw forearms at Brookside in the corner and hit her with a splash. After a few, Forza hit an Oakla-gnome-a Stampede and went for a cover, but Brookside got her foot on the ropes to break the count. Brookside then grabbed her title belt and went to abandon the match.

Indi Hartwell met Brookside on the ramp and sent her back to the ring. Then Daria Rae came out and argued with her. Brookside used the distraction to clock Forza with the title belt and get the win.

Winner: Xia Brookside via Pinfall to retain the TNA Knockouts World Championship.

Backstage: Kiera Hogan, Allie

Back from break, Kiera Hogan told her tag partner Allie that she is going to face M by Elegance for the Knockouts TV title next week. Neato.

In-Ring: Elijah, The System, Ricky Sosa

There are a couple of things that wrestling is obsessed with that I just don’t get. Authority Figures is one. Contract Signings another. But also, “concerts” by wrestlers. Someone somewhere along the way decided that they were a great addition to wrestling programming and I just don’t understand why. Bands playing someone to the ring? Awesome. A concert as part of a wrestling show? Don’t get it.

So anyway, Elijah joined us next for his previously advertised “concert.” His guitar was very out of tune. He dedicated his first song to The System. That of course meant that he could only get through two lines of it before The System came out to yell at him about it. They told him that they are going to put him down and he’s not going to get back up.

Elijah said “nuh-uh” and assured them that he’ll always get back up. To walk. Eddie Edwards said that The System has a list and he and Rucky Sosa are on it. So, that of course brought Sosa sprinting down to the ring.

Sosa said that they shouldn’t mess with his boy Elijah. Then, surprising no one, Sosa challenged any two members of The System to face him and Elijah next week. Edwards accepted and the system left and Elijah and Sosa vibed in the ring.

Next, Matt Hardy was shown in the back, re-living his brother’s assault and subsequent removal in an ambulance. Suddenly, Willow showed up and asked Matt if he was prepared for his match tonight. Matt said that he is going to punish Nic Nemeth and take his title. Willow wondered if this was a trap, a big risk. Matt said that life is a risk and then a PA came in and we saw that Matt was talking to no one.

Backstage: Leon Slater

Back from break, Leon Slater was shown slumped over a forklift in the back, the latest victim of the mysterious attacker. Again, no one helped him.

Vincent vs. Rich Swann

Last week, The Righteous straight up kidnapped BDE after a match and has not been seen or heard from again. And yes, it’s true, Swann could ahve called the police or asked Santino Marella or Daria Rae to look into it, but instead, Swann steps into the ring with Vincent in this singles match.

Swann jumped Vincent off the top and dropkicked him in the middle of the ring. Vincent fought back with some slams and whipped Swann into the corner. Swann popped up with a hard right, but Vincent shook it off and hit a backbreaker, bending Swann over his knee.

Swann tried to come back, but ran into a back body drop. Vincent continued working the back, but Swann wasn’t done and hit a a big slam off the ropes. He threw some jabs at Vincent and Dutch got up on the ring. Swann punched him off the apron and then flipped onto him off the ring post. Dutch charged at Swann, but hit the steps instead.

Swann got back in the ring and tried to kick Vincent, but caught the ref instead. Vincent plated him face-first on the mat and then suddenlt, BDE came wandering down dressed all in white. BDE got in the ring and grabbed Swann by the head. He looked at him deep in his eyes and then hit Vincent with a cutter.

Swann went up top and hit a twisting splash on Vincent just as the ref came to and counted to three.

Winner: Rich Swann via Pinfall.

TNA World Championship No Disqualification Match
Matt Hardy vs. Nic Nemeth (c)

The Hardys and the Nemeths just can’t stay away from each other. Two weeks ago, Jeff suffered a brutal attack and last week, Ryan Nemeth was found unconscious backstage. This could be part of the bigger picture of the recent rash of backstage unconcious-ings, but for now, Nic and Matt are pointing fingers at each other and are out for blood. That said, Nic puts his title on the line against Matt tonight in a No Disqualification Match, so it’s likely we’ll get some!

The slugfest began off the top and Matt sent Nic to the outside. Matt bounced Nic’s head off the steps and went under the ring to pull out the non-sponsored table. Nic knocked Matt into the barricade and tried to set up the table, but Matt came back and bounced his head off the announce table.

Matt set the table up against the ring and suplexed Nic right through it. Matt started throwing chairs into the ring and pulled out another table to slide under the ropes. He walked around and hit Nic in the gut with a chair, then choked him with it. Matt tossed the chair aside and grabbed another table which he set up on the outside.

Matt grabbed Nic and laid him out on the table, but Nic went for the eyes and slipped Matt back into the ring. Matt hit a quick side effect, but could only get a two count. Matt called for the Twist of Fate, but Nic backed him into the corner and bit him. Nic charged Matt and walked into a back elbow. Matt went up top, but Nic joined him on the ringpost. Then Nic superplexed Matt into the ring for a two count.

Nic set up a chair between the ropes in the corner and drove Matt headfirst into the steel. He hit a fame-ass-er and got a two count. Nic set up the table that was in the ring in the corner. He went to put Matt through it, but Matt countered and went for a Side Effect. Nic got out of it though and flew at Matt in the corner. Matt dodged and hit him with a clothesline.

Matt tried to delete Nic’s head from his shoulders on the turnbuckles, but Nic caught him with a superkick. Nic charged and Matt moved, sending him into (but not breaking) the table. So, Matt whipped him into it again to make sure Nic and the table got broken in half.

Matt hit Nic with a chair and wrapped it around Nic’s head before delivering a Twist of Fate. The ref started counting and Ryan ran down and pulled him out of the ring. Matt gave Ryan a Twist of Fate on the outside and climbed back into the ring to give Nic one as well. The ref counted again, but Nic got his foot on the ropes.

Matt grabbed Ryan and laid him out on the table at ringside. He then dropped an elbow on Ryan from the apron, putting him through the table. Matt got back into the ring and grabbed Nic who hit him with the Ric Flair special (low blow) and grabbed a two count.

Nic went under the ring and grabbed a wrench from a toolbox (they really shouldn’t leave those under there). He went to hit Matt with it, but Matt low-blowed him right in the Nemeths. Matt went for another Twist of Fate but Nic ducked it and clocked him with the wrench to get the victory and retain the TNA World Title.

Winner: Nic Nemeth via Pinfall to retain the TNA World Championship.
