US Supreme Court Reportedly Declines Hearing for WWE Concussion Lawsuit Appeal

As noted before, the class action concussion lawsuit filed by several former wrestlers against WWE was dismissed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in September of 2020. An appeal hearing on this decision was filed to the U.S. Supreme Court this past April.

Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert reported that the U.S. Supreme Court recently officially declined a hearing with lawyer Konstantine Kyros for the appeal of his concussion lawsuit against WWE. This means that the decision made by the U.S. Court of Appeals will stand as final for the case.

Lambert also reported that the next step of the legal case will be to determine how much financial restitution Kyros will be required to pay to WWE. The company reportedly is currently seeking around $573,770.44 in legal fees and an additional $39,844.00 in other costs.
