In-Ring: Miz TV With The Miz, John Morrison, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, Nikki Cross

The Miz welcomes everyone to Miz TV and a welcome back to the must see superstar, himself. He says and not a moment too soon as the past few weeks on Raw have been difficult without the A-Lister to command the ship. Miz apologizes and says that match vs. Priest, he was injured. Miz says for the first time in his career, he got injured. He looks at Morrison and asks what that smell is as Morrison is wearing garlic across his neck.

Morrison says he is trying to keep everyone and everything away. He gets his own drip stick which shoots out water. Miz says they are going on the road soon and they want to see the most must see in person. And he realized he accomplished so much in his career and he must sue his platform to help support superstars like John Morrison and his guest tonight. He introduces Charlotte Flair to the ring.

Charlotte makes her way down to the ring and asks what that smell is. Morrison says he is wearing garlic to be protected from things. Miz asks about her Championship match as Charlotte says she will be a 14 time Champion. She says what everyone has to realize is Rhea has had a fairy tale story at WrestleMania but real life is not a fairy tale and in a few weeks, she will be sending Rhea to hell.

Out comes Rhea Ripley. She says Charlotte can go to hell. Charlotte gets in her face as Miz and Morrison break it up. Miz says it’s Rhea’s first time on Miz TV and to talk. Miz asks who Rhea is, why such a hardened exterior. Morrison asks her what he favorite garlic bread recipe as Miz asks what he is doing. He says he wants to make sure she isn’t a vampire. Rhea says she isn’t a vampire, she is a nightmare to everyone in the Raw Women’s division.

Rhea tells them if they want to interview her after she gets the win vs. Charlotte, she will still be the Raw Women’s Champion. Charlotte tells her she wasn’t even able to beat Nikki Cross last week. We see a clip of last week where Ripley wasn’t able to beat Nikki Cross in 2 minutes.

Out comes Nikki Cross to the ring. She tells The Miz she is a big fan of Miz TV and sorry for interrupting but last week she beat the Raw Women’s Champion and she think it would only be fair if she was the first person to challenge the winner of their match at Hell in a Cell. Flair tells her if life was fair, she would be the Raw Women’s Champion right now. Rhea tells her last week, if there was four minutes on the clock and not two, she wouldn’t be standing here right now. But she has to admit, she earned her respect.

Nikki tells Flair that she could beat her in two minutes. And if she did, would it be fine to challenge the winner of the match from Hell in a Cell. Flair says she can beat Nikki in one minute as Nikki slaps her. Flair accepts her challenge.


Beat the Clock Challenge
Charlotte Flair vs. Nikki Cross

Charlotte must beat Nikki within two minutes. The bell rings and we are under way. Flair goes for a clothesline as Nikki runs to the outside of the ring. Flair follows her to the outside as Nikki gets back in the ring. Flair gets back in the ring as Nikki slides to the outside of the ring. Flair to the outside as she chases Nikki but she gets in Rhea’s face. Charlotte says this is Rhea’s fault.

Nikki is back in the ring and a knee to the midsection by Flair onto Nikki followed by a clothesline. Flair gets Nikki on the top rope but Nikki with right hands. Nikki with a tornado DDT on Flair as the time is up.

Winner: Nikki Cross

Flair is in disbelief as Nikki celebrates.


Backstage: Riddle, Damian Priest, Randy Orton

We see at the history between RKBro and The New Day.

Riddle is backstage with Damian Priest. They talk about how great it will be in front of the WWE Universe again. He asks Priest how you say bro in Spanish and Riddle tells him hermano. I’m hungry asks Riddle and Priest says tengo hambre. Where’s my daddy says Riddle and Priest says dónde está mi papi. Riddle says he is his papi. How do you say Hey Randy, Priest looks and says Hey Randy as he points to Orton.

Matt turns to Orton and asks how he is. Orton says he saw what he did last week. He used the RKO. Riddle apologizes and says he should have asked but he hit it out of no where. Orton says he and Woods had a great match, he impressed him. There were a dew things he thinks they could work on and they might as well do it. And he was thinking and will probably wish he didn’t say this but he asks Riddle to watch his match later tonight at ring side to learn a thing or two.

Riddle talks about how he landed the RKO as Orton tells him to stop talking.


Randy Orton vs. Xavier Woods

The bell rings and we are under way. An arm drag by Woods followed by an arm bar. Woods gets Orton in the corner and runs towards him but Orton picks him up and throws him to the outside of the ring. Orton slams Woods back first onto the table.

Back from commercial, Orton has Woods in a head lock in the middle of the ring. Woods to his feet as he tries to fight back. Woods attacks Orton’s left arm followed by a kick to the side of the head. A chop to the chest by Woods followed by a right hand. Orton with a knee to the midsection as he slows Woods down. He sends Woods to the ropes and a big right hand by Woods knocks Orton down.

Woods to the ropes and he slams Orton onto the mat. He goes for the cover but Orton kicks out. Woods gets Orton in the corner and climbs the second rope. Punches to the head by Woods on Orton in the corner but Orton with a poke to the eyes. Orton picks Woods up and powerbombs him onto the mat. He goes for the cover but Woods kicks out. Orton gets Woods onto the ring apron as he tells Riddle to watch him.

Orton grabs Woods, places him on the second rope, goes for the DDT but Woods gets out of it and a knee to the arm by Woods. Both men back up, Orton with a knee to the midsection. He gets Woods on the second rope and hits him with the DDT. Orton goes for the RKO, Woods counters it into a back slide but Orton kicks out. A knee to the shoulder by Woods, he runs to the ropes but Orton catches him and lands the Bro Derek. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Randy Orton

Riddle gets in the ring and celebrates on his scooter.


Reginald vs. Shayna Baszler

Nia Jax and Reginald are backstage and Reginald tells her to stay back and he doesn’t need her help.

The bell rings and we are under way. Reginald is wearing a tshirt that has himself, Shayna and Nia on it. Shayna goes for a kick and a right hand but Reginald ducks them both. A shoulder block by Shayna takes him down. She goes for a kick as he slides out of the way. Reginald goes for a roll-up but Shayna kicks out. Shayna grabs his arm and sends him to the ropes. A shoulder block by Shayna. He gets back up and bodyslams Shayna. He is shocked as is Nia backstage.

Another shoulder block by Shayna and she attacks his left foot. Shayna twists Reginald’s ankle and stomps on it. Shayna with a calf crusher. She slams Reginald’s knee on the mat. Shayna with an ankle lock but Reginald gets out of it throwing Shayna into the turnbuckle. A spinning cross body by Reginald onto Shayna. Reginald climbs the top rope and he goes for a moonsault, Shayna moves, Reginald lands on his feet.

Shayna with the Kirifuda Clutch as fire explodes out of the ring post. Shayna lets go of the hold as Reginald rolls her up and gets the pin.

Winner: Reginald

Nia is backstage and in comes Reginald. She celebrates with him as Shayna is fuming in the ring.


Backstage: Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is backstage and in comes Kevin Patrick. He asks him about his match vs. Kofi. Drew says tonight is all about Kofi and Drew. No Lashley, no MVP, nothing. He respects Kofi and he has earned everything he got. Maybe two weeks ago, had he not interfered vs. Lashley, he might have won. Drew says he might have pulled it off. He was like Kofi, he put everyone’s wants and needs before his own. He had to change his way of thinking and sacrificing. And part of that was choosing not to extend his family.

Kofi fights for his kids but Drew made the decision of not having kids right now because he wants to invest it all in the ring. And one day he will have a little Drew and tell him a story about how one time a 6 foot 5 Scottish warrior slayed the beast Brock Lesnar. Something Kofi couldn’t do. He says tonight he will get the win and will win back the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell.


Lucha House Party vs. Mace & T-Bar

The bell rings and we are under way. T-Bar and Dorado are in the ring as T-Bar lifts Dorado up but Dorado gets a sleeper on him. T-Bar gets him in the corner and Metalik is tagged in. They double team T-Bar taking him down. Metalik goes for a suplex but T-Bar blocks it and Mace is tagged in. They double team Metalik. Mace with a suplex followed by an elbow. He goes for the cover but Metalik kicks out.

T-Bar is tagged in and another double team on Metalik. T-Bar again with the cover but Metalik kicks out. Mace is tagged in and they try to double team Metalik but Dorado gets in and dropkicks T-Bar. Mace is thrown to the outside. Dorado goes for a suicide dive, Mace catches him and slams him. T-Bar with a big boot on Metalik. Mace is tagged in and a double chokeslam on Metalik. Mace goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winners: Mace and T-Bar


Sheamus vs. Ricochet

Sheamus is in the ring with a microphone. He says another week, another victory for the United States Champion. He says he can’t wait for WWE to go back on the road so he can defend the title in every city. He says he should let Carrillo and Ricochet win some participation trophies. We see a clip of last week’s match between Sheamus and Carrillo where Sheamus got the win. Ricochet would attack him after the match.

Back in the ring, Sheamus asks if they look like Championship material. He says where he comes from, that’s school baggary. Two guys attacking one. And people ask why he hasn’t defended his United States Championship, the answer was in that video. He says Humberto and Ricochet have shown they are not fit to lace his boots. He is an intelligent Champion, he won’t face them two on one but he will fight them one on one, back to back. And when he is done with them, he will send them back to where they belong. Catering and obscurity.

Sheamus says the question is which one of those moppets will step out first. Out comes Ricochet to the ring.

The bell rings and we are under way. Sheamus goes for a clothesline but Ricochet moves out of the way and Sheamus to the outside. Ricochet goes for a baseball slide but Sheamus moves out of the way. Sheamus with a fall away slam throwing Ricochet into the barricade. Ricochet back in the ring, Sheamus on the top rope and he hits him with a forearm to the face.

Humberto Carrillo’s music hits and he runs down as Ricochet gets the roll-up on Sheamus and the pin.

Winner: Ricochet

Sheamus vs. Humberto Carrillo

Back from commercial and Sheamus is stomping on Carrillo in the corner. A knee to the face by Sheamus knocks Carrillo down. Carrillo on the ring apron as Sheamus grabs him but Carrillo with a back elbow. Carrillo stuns Sheamus on the top rope. Humberto jumps towards Sheamus but Sheamus catches him and hits him with a back breaker. Sheamus with a clothesline knocks him down

A head lock by Sheamus but a jaw breaker by Carrillo. Sheamus runs towards Carrillo but Carrillo moves out of the way and Sheamus hits shoulder first into the ring post. Carrillo with a chop to the chest followed by a kick to the head. A drop kick by Carrillo and Sheamus is bleeding from his nose. Carrillo runs towards Sheamus but Sheamus catches him, places him on the top rope and clothesline him to the outside.

Ricochet checking on Carrillo but Sheamus kicks him down. Sheamus bashing Ricochet, Carrillo gets in the ring and hits him with a suicide dive. He gets Sheamus back in the ring, Carrillo with a cross body but Sheamus catches him and slams him into the mat. Ricochet tries to get in the ring, Sheamus blocks him, Carrillo with a roll-up on Sheamus and gets the pin.

Winner: Humberto Carrillo

Naomi & Lana vs. Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina are on commentary for this match.

Lana and Dana Brooke start the match. They go back and forth before Naomi tags in and drops a leg for a two count. Naomi hits a bulldog into the turnbuckle and tags Lana in. Lana then hits a regular bulldog for a two count. Naomi tags in and goes for a wheelbarrow bulldog, but Brooke slams her down. Mandy Rose tags in and Brooke joins in to hit a double-team flapjack on Naomi. Rose slams Naomi a few times and hits a weird death valley driver jawbreaker for a near fall. Lana tags in and covers Rose a few times, but she counters out. Lana boots Rose back and hits Brooke. Brooke tags in, and they hit a mistimed Samoan Drop/Blockbuster combo for the win.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Cedric Alexander

Benjamin big boots him at the sound of the bell. Benjamin knees him and goes for a powerbomb, but Alexander rakes the eyes. Alexander hits the Neuralyzer for the win.

Backstage: Elias, Jaxson Ryker

Elias is talking to Jaxson Ryker about their Raw Tag Team Championship match against AJ Styles and Omos. Elias says they have a huge challenge in Omos, who almost electrocuted him throwing him through the LED wall. Omos is barely human. They need a game plan. Ryker is zoned out. Elias needs to know Ryker has his back. They’re going into battle… has Ryker ever been in battle? Ryker says he served in Iraq and walks off.


Backstage: Kofi Kingston

Kevin Patrick is backstage with Kofi Kingston. Kingston says he respects Drew McIntyre, but didn’t appreciate the cheap shot he took at him. McIntyre says he slayed the beast while Kingston couldn’t, which is cheap. Kingston says he was able to do something McIntyre couldn’t in these past three months, which feels much longer. Kingston beat Bobby Lashley. They’ll leave it all in the ring tonight and then Kingston will go on to become a 2-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.


Raw Tag Team Championship
AJ Styles & Omos (c) vs. Elias & Jaxson Ryker

Elias starts against AJ Styles. Elias takes it to Styles early on. Styles fights back and hits a suplex on Elias for a two count. Elias comes back with a suplex for a one count. Elias hits a snapmare and drops a knee. Jaxson Ryker blind tags in and goes after Styles, but Styles stuns him with a punch. Ryker reverses a whip, but Styles slides out of the ring and pulls Elias off the apron. Styles gets Ryker outside and hits a baseball slide that knocks Ryker into Elias.

We come back from the break to see Ryker still working on Styles. Ryker hits a brainbuster for a two count. Ryker hit a pair hammer throws to Styles during the commercial. Ryker applies a chin lock, but Styles fights up. Ryker quickly sends him headfirst into the turnbuckle. Ryker goes back to the chin lock. Styles fights out and hits an overhead kick.

Ryker goes for a tag, but Elias pulls himself back and gets off the apron. Ryker is shocked.

Omos tags in and comes up behind Ryker. Omos cranks in the claw to Ryker’s skull and throws him to the corner. Elias is backing up the ramp. Omos elbows Ryker in the corner and viciously whips him into the turnbuckle. Omos charges with another back elbow in the corner. Omos hits a vicious short-arm clothesline and tags Styles in. Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

Backstage: Reginald, Nia Jax

Reginald is walking backstage when Nia Jax comes up to him. She’s worried about him appearing on Alexa’s Playground. Reginald says he’ll be fine and will meet her after. This is next.


Backstage: Elias

Elias is walking around backstage looking over his shoulder. Kevin Patrick asks why he walked out on Jaxson Ryker. Elias says Ryker is unhinged. Ryker wanted to walk with Elias, but last week he left Elias high and dry to protect himself. Elias says he respects that Ryker is a veteran, but they’re going back on the road in a few weeks. Elias doesn’t want to be stuck in a car with Ryker and doesn’t want to be around him anymore.


Backstage: Alexa’s Playground With Reginald

Alexa Bliss is holding the Lilly doll. Bliss welcomes Reggie to the show. Reginald says he feels great after beating Shayna Baszler. Bliss cuts him off and says Lilly has a question. Bliss realizes Reginald cannot hear Lilly. Shayna Baszler comes up from behind and beats up Reginald before sitting on the swing. Bliss was covering Lilly’s eyes. Bliss says Baszler wasn’t invited because Lilly doesn’t like her. Baszler says Bliss is becoming a real problem. Bliss just saw how Baszler deals with problems. She’ll see Bliss next week. Baszler then gets on Lilly’s level and says she’s just a stupid doll. Bliss angrily watches as she leaves.


Backstage: Mansoor, The Viking Raiders, Mustafa Ali

Mansoor is talking with the Viking Raiders backstage. They give him advice on being on the road with WWE. Mustafa Ali comes up and tells him to be careful who he’s friends with because you can’t trust anyone. Mansoor asks why he should trust Ali’s advice, and Ali says he’s getting it already.


Backstage: Bobby Lashley, MVP

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP are dancing with the women backstage. Kevin Patrick comes up and asks if they have a preferred challenger. They don’t care since no one is taking this title from Lashley. MVP says they’re banned from ringside, but the executive suite is way better than a 90 day suspension with no pay. They continue to dance and celebrate Lashley.


#1 Contender’s Match
Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre

McIntyre powers Kingston to the corner and stomps him a few times at the start of the match. McIntyre chops the chest and punches him. McIntyre sends him into the ropes, but Kingston rolls him up for a one count. Kingston rolls him up again for a one count. McIntyre then viciously chops him down. McIntyre chops him and lifts him up. McIntyre charges, but Kingston hits a head-scissor over the top rope. Kingston then hits a springboard trust fall to ringside.

We come back from the break to see Kingston taking it to McIntyre, but McIntyre connects with a Glasgow Kiss to cut him off. McIntyre powers him up for a suplex for a two count. McIntyre punches Kingston back to the corner and goes for a short-arm clothesline, but Kingston flips through it. McIntyre fights back and goes for a suplex, but Kingston knees him in the head and rolls him up for a one count. Kingston takes him down and hits a springboard splash for a one count.

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP are watching from their executive suite.

Kingston avalanches McIntyre in the corner a few times. McIntyre sidesteps him and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. McIntyre hits a second overhead belly-to-belly suplex. McIntyre goes for a slam, but Kingston counters into a roll-up for a one count. McIntyre angrily punches Kingston down. McIntyre pulls Kingston up, but Kingston surprises McIntyre with an SOS for a near fall. Kingston sets up for a Boom Drop, but McIntyre rolls out of the ring. Kingston goes to the top turnbuckle and stands on the ring post before trying a trust fall. McIntyre catches him and launches him over the barricade.

We come back from the final break of the evening to see McIntyre continuing his attack on Kingston. McIntyre hits a backbreaker for a near fall. McIntyre chops the chest and puts Kingston on the top rope. McIntyre lifts him up on his shoulders, but Kingston counters into a sunset flip powerbomb for a near fall!

Kingston chops McIntyre and connects with a dropkick. McIntyre quickly kicks him and sends him to the corner, but Kingston hits a springboard missile dropkick for a near fall. McIntyre avoids a Trouble in Paradise and hooks Kingston’s arms. McIntyre spins him around and hits a wild Future Shock DDT for a near fall! McIntyre cannot believe Kingston kicked out. McIntyre lifts Kingston up, but Kingston elbows out and boots him back. Kingston charges, but McIntyre counters with a huge spinebuster for a near fall. McIntyre punches the mat a few times in frustration.

McIntyre has a scrape above his right eyebrow. McIntyre goes for another Future Shock DDT, but Kingston counters out and hits a superkick for a near fall. Kingston goes to the top rope, but McIntyre kips up and attacks him. McIntyre goes for a top rope superplex, but Kingston fights him. Kingston punches him into the tree of woe. McIntyre sits up and slams him down to the mat. McIntyre sets up for a Claymore Kick and charges, but Kingston wipes him out with a Trouble in Paradise! Kingston covers, but McIntyre grabs the bottom rope to break the pin. Kingston quickly comes back with a springboard hurricanrana that knocks McIntyre out of the ring. Kingston kicks him from the apron and hits a double stomp to the floor! Kingston goes to the top rope and waits for McIntyre to get up. Kingston leaps, but McIntyre catches him with a Claymore Kick out of midair for the win!

Winner by Pinfall: Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre will face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell. Kingston gets to his feet and shakes hands with McIntyre. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley walks out to the stage as the show ends.
