Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that following her release from WWE this past June, AEW officials had “immediate” interest in wanting to sign Soho to a deal with the company. The general backstage reaction towards Soho reportedly was unanimous in positivity and many were pushing for the company to sign her.

It was also reported that other companies were also interested in signing her to a potential deal but were informed that she would not be available for bookings and some had assumed as far back as this past July that she was heading to AEW.

It was also reported that their sources within WWE stated that numerous talent were “over the moon” for Soho’s AEW debut and were aware of how much the moment meant to her.

Lucha Bros Comment on Wanting a Hair vs. Mask Match in the Future Against The Young Bucks

AEW held an All Out 2021 post-show media scrum following this past Sunday’s event with the Lucha Brothers as one of the guest speakers. One of the topics discussed included the Lucha Brothers wanting to have a hair vs. mask match in AEW against The Young Bucks in the future.

“So, in a nutshell, Penta says that The Young Bucks are not only great athletes but are amazing human beings. They’re brothers just like they’re brothers and they bring out the best in each other. Sometime down the road, whether it’s a year, maybe two years from now, if Tony’s okay with it, they’d love to face The Young Bucks in a Hair vs. Mask match.”
