AEW Announces More Competitors for Women’s Casino Battle Royale at All Out 2021

AEW recently announced that Kiera Hogan, Hikaru Shida, Emi Sakura, and Jade Cargill are the next set of competitors for their Women’s Casino Battle Royale match at their upcoming All Out 2021 event on September 5th in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

WWE, RUSH, & Danhausen File New Trademarks

WWE, RUSH, and Danhausen recently filed several new trademarks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

A trademark for “Von Wagoner” was filed by WWE on August 26th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes.

A trademark for “Queen’s Crown Tournament” was filed by WWE on August 27th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes. This term could be for WWE’s rumored Queen of the Ring tournament, which is currently rumored to be taking place this October.

A trademark for “Dralistico” was filed by ROH talent RUSH on August 26th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes.

A trademark for “Very Nice Very Evil” was filed by ROH talent Danhausen on August 26th for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Game Changer Wrestling announced that Taiji Ishimori will be making an appearance for the company at their Get Lost Alot event on September 24th in New York City, New York.

The National Wrestling Alliance announced that their next pay-per-view event will be called Hard Times 2 and will be taking place on December 4th at the GPB Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that their weekly NJPW Strong series will be moving from its current weekly date of Fridays to a new Saturdays date starting with their September 18th episode.

Ring of Honor talent RUSH announced on Instagram that he recently underwent surgery to repair a knee injury he suffered at ROH’s Glory By Honor Night 2 event last month in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

ROH announced two new matches for the card of their Death Before Dishonor 2021 event on September 12th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:

  • Violence Unlimited (Homicide, Chris Dickinson, & Tony Deppen) vs. John Walters, LSG, & Lee Moriarty
  • ROH Pure Championship – Josh Woods vs. Jonathan Gresham (c)

In a correction to an earlier report, Major League Wrestling has not cancelled their upcoming co-promoted event with The Crash on September 11th in Tijuana, Mexico. The Crash announced one new match for the card of this event:

  • El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Taurus vs. Andrade “El Idolo” vs. Fenix.
