In-Ring: Seth Rollins, Big E, Kevin Owens

Seth Rollins makes his way down to the ring. He is holding the contract as he says that every one knows him and he is not the kind of person that will come out and toot his own horn. He has come out with a purpose. But while he is there, he is on top of the world. He says last week, in a grueling ladder match, he defeated three former top tier world champions to earn his opportunity for the WWE championship and it feels good.

Rollins says it feels right, this is his show, Monday night Rollins. He was drafted to be the face of Monday nights and the only thing that is missing is a title around his waist. But fortunately for every one, the contract guarantees that you are looking at the next WWE champion.

Out comes Big E to the ring. He tells Seth that last week, he came out to congratulate him on winning a great ladder match. But instead of shaking his hand, he laughed in his face and left. Big E says it bothered him and he spoke to his aunt who told him not to let Seth bother him, there is something deeply wrong with his mind.

Seth says he came out, challenged him to a match and Big E told him he had to go earn it and prove himself. Like Big E didn’t know who he was. And after Seth won the contract, he went to shake Big E’s hand and he didn’t accept it. Seth says he had a lot of respect for Big E but he lost some of that respect last week. He says Big E has been a good champion, quality wins against Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. He says Big E is not on his level. Sooner or later, they will fight for the title and Big E doesn’t want the responsibility of being a champion. He tells him to give him the title and he can go back to being a joke with his friends. King Woods and Kofi Mania. Seth laughs.

Big E tells him to respect the king and he will not let Seth disrespect one of the greatest moments in WWE history that was Kofi Mania. But what he will do is offer Seth everything he claims he wants. Big E challenges Seth to a match for the WWE championship tonight.

He says they do it on his terms. Both men argue in the ring.

Out comes Kevin Owens. Seth tells Owens that he can accept Big E coming out but Owens shouldn’t be there. Owens says he doesn’t care how he feels. But he can hear them talking about who the face of Raw is. He says Big E has a very strong claim being the WWE champion. Seth thinks he is the face of Raw because he’s a delusional dumbass. Owens says he heard Bianca say she was the face of Raw. He heard Becky Lynch say the same thing. But he feels like there’s someone that every one is forgetting. That’s him.

Owens says Seth won last week but people were not talking about Seth winning. They were talking about Owens and his performance in that match. Because when he gets in the ring, he gives it his best. He says it hasn’t worked out for him in a while but when he tells people to keep fighting, it’s not just a catchphrase, it’s something he believes. He says it might be for three more months or three more years but every time he is on Raw, you can believe he will do everything he can to give the WWE Universe something to remember. He tells Seth if he won’t fight Big E tonight, there is something that people will remember for a long time. And that is Big E against Kevin Owens for the first time ever tonight.

Seth says that’s a great idea. Big E says like Highlander, there can only be one face of Raw. This isn’t Mount Rushmore but Owens has a point. Big E accepts Kevin’s challenge.
