Jake Atlas wrestled for AEW for the first time at tonight’s AEW Dark: Elevation tapings at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL.
He defeated Serpentico.
After the match, Tony Khan came out on stage to shake Atlas’s hand, which could be a sign of his potential signing, though nothing has been announced yet.
Atlas signed with WWE/NXT in 2019 and was released in August 2021. Prior to joining WWE, he was an indie fan favorite, most notably wrestling several matches for PWG.
After his WWE release, Atlas said that he was “stepping away from wrestling” because it wasn’t good for his mental health at the time.
