Jeff Hardy has been released by WWE, Fightful reported.
Fightful added that “WWE reportedly offered Jeff Hardy help and rehab, and it was not accepted.” Not many other details are available at this time.
Hardy was “sent home” by WWE after a house show in Texas on Saturday. After wrestling for a few minutes in a six man tag, he tagged in Drew McIntyre, then left through the crowd and didn’t return, and was replaced by Rey Mysterio at a house show the next day.
Hardy signed a new contract with WWE last year.
