Lance Storm & Laredo Kid Sign Deals with Impact Wrestling

Lance Storm Signs Deal with Impact Wrestling for Backstage & Coaching Roles

During a recent episode of the Figure Four Daily podcast, co-host Lane Storm revealed that he recently signed a deal to work in a backstage role as a producer and coach for Impact Wrestling.

“Producer, coach, whatever you want to call it.”

Storm also gave his thoughts on his decision to return to Impact.

“This is a chance to make the decision I made two years ago. I had done a couple of tapings with IMPACT as a producer, back when I still had my school, and when I decided to close my school and was looking at options, I talked with IMPACT and I talked with WWE. WWE made a very eager, good offer. I really liked it in IMPACT, but both my wife and me liked the idea of the security in WWE, which is ironic considering it ended up being a six-month gig. Maybe that’s karma or destiny telling me I should have made the other decision in the first place. I enjoyed the two tapings that I did. I liked the atmosphere and people and I’ve always gotten along with Scott (D’Amore). I’m looking forward to it, it won’t be too long. I will be going to the New Orleans tapings and I will be overseeing Gut Check.”

Laredo Kid Signs Deal with Impact Wrestling

A recent episode of the Paltrocast with Darren Paltrowitz podcast had Lucha Libre AAA and indies talent Laredo Kid as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Kid revealing that he recently signed an official contract with Impact Wrestling.

“Yes, my goal is to try [to] fight for that belt [X Division Title] because [when] I started in the wrestling business, I saw all the wrestlers that go for the X Division like AJ Styles and all [those] wrestlers. I think they motivated me to be a good wrestler, you know? Like training hard. When I see all the crazy moves they do, I try to do the same, you know? And training more [to] be there one day and when I had the opportunity to be — to sign with IMPACT, it’s great, you know? Right now, it’s a dream to have this opportunity then I’m going to find the X Division belt.”
