Match and show star ratings (out of 5):

WWE

WWE RAW (May 30)
* Asuka vs. Bianca Belair – 3.0
* Dominik & Rey Mysterio & Ezekiel vs. Kevin Owens & Alpha Academy (Otis & Chad Gable) – 2.5
* Alexa Bliss vs. Doudrop – 1.5
* Ciampa vs. Mustafa Ali – 2.0
* United States Championship – Mustafa Ali vs. Theory (c) – 2.0 (Squash)
* Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Contenders match – Shinsuke Nakamura & Riddle vs. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) – 3.0
* Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley – 2.5
Overall – 2.0
Best – The Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins promo & brawl segment and the Shinsuke Nakamura & Riddle vs. The Usos match.
Worst – The Miz TV segment in general and WWE Creative being lazy with the amount of DQ endings for matches on the show.
Show Notes – Opening Becky Lynch promo bashing those who don’t want her to regain her RAW Women’s title and past history with Asuka, interruption by Asuka mocking Lynch for being a crybaby & RAW Women’s title plan, interruption by Belair about their upcoming title match, & brawl was all right. Asuka vs. Belair moments: Asuka’s kick counter of Belair’s headscissors grab attempt. Asuka’s ankle lock & knee bar combo to Belair into Belair’s escape & suplex counter. Match itself was going on well until the lame DQ ending by Lynch. Cody Rhodes’ promo about his respect for Rollins and their bad blood feud, interruption by Rollins about not liking Rhodes nor his presence in WWE and dig at his AEW career, their upcoming Cell match, & brawl was entertaining. Bliss vs. Doudrop was a somewhat dull bout. Miz TV segment with Street Profits about Street Profits’ rambling promotion of Hell in a Cell and mocking Miz, Dawkins’ High Five reaction to Miz’s angry “hands up” moment, & 24/7 title shenanigans interruption was a bit of a mess. Ciampa vs. Ali was going on decently until the lame DQ ending shenanigans by Theory. US title match was a decent mostly squash bout. Ali getting another US title match due to Pearce stating Vince suddenly had a change of heart over Theory’s unfair tactics made the previous match just be a waste of time. Nakamura & Riddle vs. Usos moments: Nakamura’s catch, leg swing onto the ropes, & sliding German suplex combo to Jimmy. Jimmy’s superkick & Jey’s Uso’s Splash combo to Nakamura. Riddle’s overhead kick & standing senton to Jey. Jey’s block & toss over the ropes counter of Riddle’s draping DDT into Nakamura’s Kinshasa outta nowhere counter of Jey’s dive attempt. Jey’s superkick counter of Riddle’s RKO. Match itself was a good back-and-forth action bout despite the DQ ending shenanigans by Jimmy. The amount of filler pad time in between Morgan’s entrance and start of the Morgan vs. Ripley match was ridiculous, even by WWE standards. Morgan vs. Ripley was a solid back-and-forth bout despite the sloppy finish & ringside endings shenanigans by Priest & Styles. Lashley and MVP & Omos handicap match contract signing & brawl with security and Cedric Alexander was decent at best. This week’s Hell in a Cell go show was average at best but also dull at times.

Tony D’Angelo & Santos Escobar face-to-face yacht meeting about their NXT turf war feud, 6-Man Tag match setup, & mafia family unification stip was splendid. Jade vs. Lopez was a mostly solid back-and-forth bout despite being a bit sloppy at times. Perez’s promo vignette about her road to NXT career, friendship with Jade, & NXT Breakout Tournament was all right. Lee vs. Quinn moments: Quinn’s Dominator style toss to Lee into the ropes. Quinn’s catch & lawn dart into the corner counter of Lee’s moonsault. Match itself was solid despite the abrupt ending. Strong & Diamond Mine backstage locker room segment about Strong being angry over Creed Bros costing him the match earlier was all right but Strong threatening to kick them out of the group if they lose their NXT Tag title match was interesting. Joe Gacy backstage dark room rambling promo about Bron Breakker, Breakker’s dad wrestling career, & upcoming NXT title dragged too long. Breakker’s backstage interview about Gacy’s words & Gacy’s spooky mind games was goofy. Choo’s sleepy elbow drop to Rose was the only good part about a very cringey and horrendous Women’s Championship Summit with Toxic Attraction, Choo, Kayden Carter, & Katana Chance. Sikoa vs. Hudson was a good back-and-forth bout. Stratton’s promo vignette about NXT’s Breakout tournament, bad mouthing Nikkita Lyons & Perez, & boasting about her accolades was decent. Thea Hail’s Chase U college selection segment was a bit funny. Waller vs. Briggs was solid despite the ending shenanigans by Von Wagner. Nile vs. James was a pretty good back-and-forth bout. Grimes vs. Frazer moments: Frazer’s slingshot leap over to Grimes into Frazer’s running headscissors counter of Grimes’ clothesline. Grimes’ back drop driver to Frazer onto the apron. Grimes’ knees counter of Frazer’s running Shooting Star Press. Frazer’s rana counter of Grimes’ powerbomb. Frazer’s suicide dive to Grimes on the outside. Grimes’ Avalanche overhead suplex & stiff Cave In finisher combo to Frazer. Match itself was a very good back-and-forth action filled bout. New Day & McIntyre vs. Brawling Brutes 6-Man tag moments: New Day’s stereo dives to Sheamus & Holland on the outside. Kingston’s Meteora to Sheamus. McIntyre’s overhead suplex to Holland. Ouch at Kingston’s head after Holland’s botched leg swipe and Fireman’s grab counter of Kingston’s kick on the apron causing both to crash hard onto the floor. Match itself was a solid back-and-forth bout. Pearce & Max Dupri backstage office about Dupri revealing his first Maximum Male Models client next week was decent. Rhodes vs. Rollins Hell in a Cell match hype video was superb. Shanky dancing every chance possible behind Mahal’s back during Mahal’s entrance despite Mahal’s “No Dancing” demand was a bit funny. Humberto vs. Mahal was decent at best despite the ending shenanigans by dancing Shanky. Women’s 6-Pack Challenge match was mostly solid despite the flat ending. Happy Corbin’s taped promo bashing Moss & Moss’ ambulance door kick entrance reveal was all right. Moss’ heated promo about Corbin’s recent attack to him and his new serious persona, response by Corbin denying Moss his match demand, banter, & match setup announcement by Pearce was all right. Moss vs. Corbin was a big pile of nothing but Moss’ post-match destruction of Corbin was nice though. Ricochet & Gunther’s backstage promos about their IC match next week was decent. Undisputed Tag title match moments: Nakamura’s whip to Jey into the steel steps into Jey’s dodge of Nakamura’s running knee into the steel steps into Jey’s leaping kick to Nakamura’s knee via Jimmy hold assist. Jimmy’s pop-up Samoan Drop to Riddle. Riddle’s super RKO to Jimmy into Jey’s Usos Splash finisher to Riddle. Match itself was quite good, especially the latter half, despite the distraction music ending shenanigans by Sami Zayn. This week’s Hell in a Cell go-home show was average overall.
