Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin

Both men lock up. Darby has Sammy against the rope. Sammy pushes Darby against the rope, then slaps Darby in the face. Darby comes back with two slaps to Sammy’s face. Darby takes Sammy down and goes for a pin, but only gets a one count. Darby counters a jackknife and now has Sammy on his back and takes him down with an armbar. Sammy makes it to the ropes to break the hold. Darby comes back with a coffin splash. Sammy comes back and has Darby in the corner and hits Darby with a chop. Both men are on the top rope. Sammy hits a superplex on Darby and hangs on, suplexing Darby. Sammy has Darby up and causes Sammy to stumble as both men go over the rope. Darby was going to do a dive, but Tay Melo stands in front of Sammy. Darby then does for another dive, as Tey moves out of the way, Sammy hits Darby with a cutter on the outside. Crazy stuff.

Back from the break, Sammy attempts a shooting star press, but Darby moves out of the way. Darby is on the outside on the floor and Tay causes a distraction which allows Sammy hit a rider kick on Darby. Darby goes back in the ring and then dives through the first and second rope hitting Sammy. Darby has Sammy in an armbar and then grabs his left hand and pulls off his wedding ring. Tay jumps on the apron and causes the distraction for Sammy to take advantage. Sammy climbs the ropes and hits a crazy cutter on Darby as he (Sammy) dives backward from mid air. Darby hits a coffin drop on Sammy.

Anna Jay comes to the ring and causes a distraction, which allows Sammy to hit a low blow, then Tay grabs the skateboard and Sammy powerbombs Darby on it, and then hits Darby with a GTH for the pin to advance.

WINNER BY PINFALL: SAMMY GUEVARA

In-Ring: Samoa Joe, Mark Sterling, Josh Woods, Tony Nese

Back from the break, Samoa Joe’s music hits and he comes to the ring with the ROH World Title Belt as the crowd chants Joe! Joe grabs the mic and says Buffalo, my name is Samoa Joe and he says it feels good to be back in AEW. He says he is sorry for being gone and says he owns the fans more violence in the future and he is open for business.

Smart Mark Sterling then interrupts Joe. Sterling has Tony Nese and Josh Woods with him. Sterling tells Joe that Nese has more abs that Joe has had matches in AEW. Sterling tells Joe that because Woods saved his life, Woods should have a shot at the TV Title. Sterling talks about how Woods is a former Pure Champion.

Joe then says Wood deserves an opportunity tonight. Sterling then says no because the paper is not done and not in a town like Buffalo. Sterling says it will be done in a better New York town – Albany next week on Rampage.

Video package with Miro who says that he is heartbroken that he didn’t get more of Malakai Black. He says that he is right choice for the belts.


Serena Deeb vs. Madison Rayne

Madison Rayne comes out with a crown on her head to an okay reaction. Serena Deeb comes out and is introduced next.

Both women lock up. Deeb grabs the ankle of Rayne, but it is countered. Both women lock hands and Deeb takes down Rayne and has her in an armbar. Rayne then hits Deeb with an arm drag. Deeb was trying the detox, but Raybe sat on Deeb and then went for the pin, but only got a two count. Deeb then tells Rayne she is the real coach and was in AEW first. Deeb then hits Rayne with a big clothesline. Deeb then slaps Rayne and hits her with a swinging neck-breaker. Deeb goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. Deeb taunts Rayne and then Rayne comes back with shots to the chest on Deeb. Rayne hits Deeb with a sliding lariat, then goes for the pin, but only gets a two. Deeb then hit Rayne and grabs Rayne’s knee and smashes to the mat and then bends Rayne’s knee back with the Serenity Lock as Rayne submits.

Backstage: Jade Cargill & The Baddies

Backstage interview with Lexi Nair, the Baddies and Jade Cargill. Cargill badmouths Athena on not being able to capture the TBS Title at All Out. The Baddies and Cargill brag about Cargill’s 37-0 record. Cargill then puts out an open challenge. Cargill said a bad word, but it was bleeped out.


Backstage: Powerhouse Hobbs

Back from the break, Lexi Nair is backstage with Powerhouse Hobbs and says that The Factory couldn’t get the job done so he went to All Out and put Ricky Starks six feet under and said its time to open the book of Hobbs.

Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Dax Harwood

Mark Henry introduces the participants for the ROH World Title Match. William Regal says he knows how good Dax is. Regal says he pulled Dax out of obscurity 13 years ago. Claudio says he respects Dax and won’t win. Dax then says he knows the odds and is the underdog and won’t talk about the past as that is for another day. Dax says this is how he feeds his family and will be the new ROH Champion.

Dax Harwood is introduced first as Bobby Cruise is the ring announcer. Caprice Coleman is part of the commentary team.

Both men shake hands. Both men lock up. and then break the holds and both men stare down each other. Claudio tackles Dax and then picks up Dax and has him in a headlock. Dax comes back with offense and then Claudio comes back with an upper cut on Dax. Claudio hits Dax with another uppercut. Dax grabs Claudio and hits him with a clothesline. Dax then attempts a suplex, but Claudio backs against the ropes and both men then spill to the outside.

Back from the break Dax hits Claudio with elbows. Claudio then grabs Dax and tosses him into the post as Dax goes to the outside. Claudio then goes to the outside and tosses Dax into the guardrail. As both men are back in the ring, Claudio comes back with kicks and now has Dax locked in an abdominal stretch. Dax breaks the hold and then Claudio goes for a pin, but only gets the two count. Dax is on the second rope. Claudio climbs up and Dax hits Claudio with repeated chops and Claudio eventually drops. Dax hits Claudio with a diving headbutt off the top rope. Dax goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. Dax hits Claudio with left jabs and then Claudio comes back with uppercuts. Dax fires back with a headbutt. and Claudio goes down. Dax goes for the pin, but only gets a two. Both men are now on the top rope. Claudio hits Dax with a huge superplex. Claudio goes for the three count, but only gets the two!

Back from the break, both men hit each other with uppercuts and forearms. Claudio went for a boot to the face, but Dax countered with a power-bomb. Dax goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. Dax hits multiple German Suplexes on Claudio. Dax puts Claudio on the top rope. Claudio counters with a huge crossbody! Dax covers Claudio, but only gets a two. Crazy near fall! As both men are back on their feet, they exchange uppercuts. Claudio comes back with several uppercuts on Dax as he goes down. Claudio picks up Dax and does the giant swing. Claudio has Dax locked in the sharpshooter. Dax tries to go for the ropes, but Claudio counters. Dax then comes back with a sharpshooter on Claudio! Claudio then tries to break the hold, but Dax grabs his arm. Claudio rolls over and then hits Dax with a crazy amount of elbow shots to Dax’s head. Claudio puts Dax in the sharpshooter who then passes out.

WINNER AND STILL ROH WORLD CHAMPION: CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI

The commentary team runs down the card for Dynamite as Claudio celebrates in the ring. the show then fades out and goes off the air.
