Billy Corgan Announces New NWA Empowerrr Event to Take Place “Very Soon”

Tuesday’s episode of NWA Powerrr featured an interview segment with National Wrestling Alliance owner Billy Corgan. One of the topics discussed included Corgan revealing that the NWA will be holding a new all-women’s Empowerrr event “very soon.”


Impact Wrestling News & Notes

Impact Wrestling officials reportedly are currently planning for AEW’s Frankie Kazarian to potentially work at several of their events and television tapings for the company within the near future, according to PWInsider.

Besides Kazarian, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Impact officials have also recently held talks regarding the idea of several former Ring of Honor talents also working for the company within the near future.

In regards to the Motor City Machine Guns status with AEW, Johnson reported that his sources stated that they are currently not scheduled for any additional appearances for AEW for the time being.

WWE referee Aja Perera announced on Twitter that she recently got married to Leon Ruffin, former Leon Ruff in WWE.

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that The Good Brothers’ Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson will be making an appearance for the company at their Royal Quest II event on October 1-2 in London, England.

National Wrestling Alliance talent Doug Williams recently announced on Twitter that he has cancelled all of his scheduled bookings for the remainder of this month due to him recently suffering a shoulder injury.

All Japan Pro Wrestling announced that they have pulled Ren Ayabe from their upcoming events from September 10-18 in Japan due to him recently suffering a collapsed lung injury.

IWTV recently announced that they will be holding a tag team tournament called T4 Summit to crown their first ever Tag Team Champions. This tournament was announced to start on September 9th and will concludes at their Wrestival 2022 event on December 30-31.

PWInisder’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Malakai Black recently pulled himself out of his scheduled booking for Northeast Wrestling’s Wrestling Under The Stars event on September 9th in Niles, Ohio. Johnson reported that the reason is currently believed to be due to the personal issues that is expected to cause Black to take a break from his wrestling career for the forseeable future.

Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that this year’s Nick Gage Invitational tournament, Nick Gage Invitational 7, will be taking place on November 12th in Summit, Illinois.

Major League Wrestling announced that they have recently signed a partnership deal with Range Sports to help expand and create new strategic content-based partnerships for the company.

MLW recently announced two new matches for the card of their Super Series event on September 18th in Norcross, Georgia:
