AEW Announces Phoenix, San Francisco, & London Shows for 2023

AEW recently announced that they will be holding a new set of AEW Dynamite and Rampage shows on February 22, 2023 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

AEW also recently announced that they will be holding a new AEW Dynamite show on March 1, 2023 and a new Rampage show on March 3, 2023 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California.

AEW also recently confirmed that they will be holding a new Dynamite show in London, England in 2023 but no other details regarding the date nor location was given.


Jeff Hardy DUI Arrest Update

As noted before, Jeff Hardy was arrested this past June in Volusia County, Florida following a drunk driving incident. Hardy has been out of action for AEW since that time due to his current suspension over his DUI arrest.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Hardy is currently scheduled to attend a pre-trial hearing in Florida this Friday based on recent court records. Johnson reported that Hardy is required by law to attend this upcoming hearing in person.

Johnson also reported that a plea agreement deal is currently believed to be in the works based on Hardy’s lawyers had requested and was granted a motion for a hearing this past October to be postponed due to them needing additional time to “negotiate a potential pretrial resolution.”

AEW recently uploaded a 14-minute video on their official YouTube channel focusing on some of the feuds and matches for their upcoming Full Gear 2022 event this Saturday.

Andrade El Idolo recently revealed on Facebook that he recently suffered an injury and he will no longer be able to make his scheduled appearance for RGR Lucha Libre for their event on November 20th in Cudahy, California. Andrade has been absent from AEW since this past October due to his suspension over a backstage altercation incident with Sammy Guevara.

This past Tuesday’s episode of The Masked Singer on FOX featured Chris Jericho being revealed as the mystery Bridezilla singer. Jericho was eliminated from the current season’s competition due to the show’s audience had voted for his elimination and unmasking reveal.

Saraya’s brother and indie wrestler Zak Knight revealed on Twitter that he was in attendance backstage during Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show was originally scheduled to feature an AEW Interim Women’s Championship Eliminator match between Toni Storm and The Bunny. Prior to the start of the show, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Twitter that The Bunny was pulled from the show due to her recently suffering from an illness and Ana Jay would be her replacement.

Tony Khan recently announced on Twitter that this upcoming Saturday’s Full Gear 2022 event is very close to reaching the milestone of a $1 million live gate. Khan also announced that the person who ends up purchasing the ticket that pushes the live gate to this milestone will receive an autographed Full Gear 2022 chair by everyone who is competing at the event as a gift.

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show featured a music video segment by The Acclaimed. During this segment, Paul Wight made an appearance portraying his iconic Captain Insano character from 1998 comedy film The Waterboy.
