As noted before, Kevin Owens suffered a MCL injury at a WWE house show this past weekend.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that Owens is currently rehabbing from his injury at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Meltzer reported that WWE’s original plans for their upcoming Men’s WarGames match at next week’s Survivor Series WarGames event were for the Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, & Solo Sikoa) to face off against The Brawling Brutes (Butch, Ridge Holland, & Sheamus), Drew McIntrye, and Kevin Owens. Meltzer also reported that this will be the main event match for the event.
Meltzer also reported that it is currently not known if Owens will be medically cleared in time for the event. Meltzer stated that “I did hear that he’s not moving very well so he better heal up quick if he’s going to make that pay-per-view.”
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that despite his current injury situation, WWE officials currently do not have any plans for Owens to be pulled from the road and he will continue traveling for shows for the time being.
