AEW reportedly recently signed a new international streaming deal with DAZN, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that DAZN recently released information regarding all of the combat sports properties they will be airing on their service for 2023. Among the properties listed included AEW’s official logo.
Meltzer reported that AEW and DAZN are currently expected to make the official announcement of a streaming deal being signed sometime after this holidays. Meltzer reported that both AEW and DAZN had agreed to keep this deal a secret for the time being despite some places are already airing AEW’s content on the service.
In regards to the deal itself, Meltzer reported that this would be for AEW’s weekly television shows and covers all of the countries that DAZN provides their service to that does not already have an existing television deal in place with AEW.
In a follow-up report, Meltzer reported in Friday’s Daily Update that this would mostly be covering European markets.
