Tony Khan Confirms Reports of New Visual Changes for AEW Dynamite This January

TV Insider held a recent interview with AEW CEO Tony Khan. One of the topics discussed included Khan confirming that the recent rumors and reports of AEW making visual changes for their AEW Dynamite series starting this January is true.

“I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag necessarily, especially so close to the big day. But at the start of 2023, we’re going to open the year on Wednesday, January 4 with the first Dynamite in Seattle, marking a full year of Dynamite on TBS. We’ll definitely have a new look, to say the least. I’m excited about it. I think it’s a nice thing to present to the fans, but frankly, I’ve found more so than ever, the more you talk about these things. When you build them up, you don’t want to create expectations that are impossible. I will say the set will be beautiful though. The look of Rampage will also be different. This will affect the way people view AEW on Wednesdays and Fridays in terms of presentation with the set and the show with the same great action.”

Jake Roberts AEW Status Update

A recent episode of The Snake Pit with Jake Roberts podcast featured co-host Jake “The Snake” Roberts providing an update on his current status in AEW and AEW’s current plans for him outside of shows.

“Whatever AEW wants out of me, I’m there. Whether it’s managing Lance [Archer] or doing something behind the scenes trying to help kids. I’ve been approached to do something where we visit hospitals and stuff and I’m very very excited to do it. It’s near and dear to my heart, hopefully we’re able to hit some rehab [centers] too where we can talk to some people and help them break the corner.”
