Impact Wrestling held a new set of Impact! television tapings on Friday at the Charles Dodge Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This new set of tapings were titled Winter Warfare and were for the build for next month’s Hard To Kill 2023 event.
Among the notable moments from this night’s tapings included the return of former ROH and Impact talent Jonathan Gresham to the company and the crowning of new Impact World Tag Team Champions.
Full results from Impact’s December 9th tapings:
- Shera defeated Jack Price.
- Taylor Wilde defeated KiLynn King.
- Eddie Edwards defeated Delirious. Following the match, Edwards launched a post-match attack resulting in Jonathan Gresham making his surprise return to save Delirious.
- Bully Ray defeated John Skyler. Following the match, Tommy Dreamer showed up and had a verbal confrontation with Ray.
- The Major Players (Matt Cardona & Brian Myers) defeated Decay.
- Sami Callihan defeated Angels. In a follow up segment, Callihan attempted to join The Design but was beaten up by the group.
- Bhupinder Gujjar & Joe Hendry defeated Johnny Swinger and Zicky Dice. Moose interfered and chased Hendry out of the arena.
- Impact World Tag Team Championship match – Motor City Machine Guns defeated Heath & Rhino (c).
- Death Dollz defeated Deonna Purrazzo & Gisele Shaw.
- “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated Yuya Uemura. In a taped promo, Kenny King said he would see Bailey soon.
- Johnny Swinger & Zicky Dice vs. John Skyler & Jason Hotch went to a no contest after Bully Ray ran in and caused havoc. Dreamer came out again to confront Bully Ray but Ray, Skyler and Hotch turned on him and attacked him.
- Steve Macline vs. Rich Swann went to a double count out.
- Jordynne Grace & Mickie James defeated Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans.
- Impact World Championship – Josh Alexander (c) defeated Moose.
