ROH Jay Briscoe Tribute Show Taping Spoilers

Prior to the start of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Fresno, California, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced to the live crowd that they will be taping a special show following the tapings for Dynamite and Rampage. This special was revealed to be a tribute show honoring the life and legacy of the late Jay Briscoe.

Khan also announced on Twitter that this special will air for free on ROH HonorClub and official YouTube channel within the near future.

In regards to the lack of a tribute video to Briscoe during Wednesday’s Dynamite show, Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that Warner Bros Discovery officials did not allow Khan to air a tribute show to Briscoe on their TBS network. This is part of a current edict from WBD that does not allow the Briscoe Brothers to appear on any AEW programming on their networks due to past homophobic comments made by Briscoe despite him apologizing and making amends over his controversy.
