Tony Khan Gives Update on ROH’s Tribute Show to Jay Briscoe

As noted before, Ring of Honor taped a special tribute show honoring the late Jay Briscoe, real name Jasmin Pugh, last week in Fresno, California.

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured ROH owner Tony Khan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Khan providing more details regarding ROH’s recent tribute show taping for Briscoe.

Khan stated that this tribute show will be three hours in length and will feature some of the best matches from Briscoe’s career, interviews with several people who knew him the best, and also matches that were taped following last week’s AEW Dynamite and Rampage shows in Fresno.

Khan also stated that this tribute show will be airing soon on ROH’s HonorClub and YouTube channel.

This tribute show was originally listed to air at 1:00 AM EST today on ROH’s YouTube channel but at the moment, the video has been set to private.


Big Kon Signs Multi-Year Contract with Impact

Impact Wrestling recently confirmed a report from Pro Wrestling Torch about Big Kon recently signing an official contract with the company. It was also confirmed that Kon’s contract with the company is for multiple years in length.

Kon made his official debut for Impact in February of 2022 and has been working in the company on a regular basis since this past November.


“Superstar” Billy Graham Health Status Update

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Superstar Billy Graham is currently dealing with a bone infection that has spread to his bone ears and portion of his skull. Graham was recently moved out of intensive care following his health improving after a heart stoppage incident.

Graham’s wife Valerie recently provided a health update on Facebook stating that Graham is currently set to be moved to a skilled nursing facility to continue his rehab and he is expected to remain on IV antibiotics for at least six months.

Wayne is on day 19 in the hospital but will soon be moved to a skilled nursing facility to continue rehab and physical therapy. He will continue his IV antibiotics for a long time…possibly 6 months….
