February 17th AEW Rampage Show to Air at Earlier Start Time

The February 17th episode of AEW Rampage is currently scheduled to air at an earlier start time based on TNT’s current broadcast schedule for that night.

TNT currently has that night’s Rampage show listed to air starting at 7:00PM EST on the network. The reason for the earlier start time is due to the network’s NBA All-Star 2023 commitments that night, which starts at 9:00PM EST.

Backstage Reaction to AEW House Show Tour Announcement

As noted before, AEW recently announced that they will be holding their first ever house show tour called AEW House Rules starting this March.

Fightful Select reported that several AEW talents spoken to stated that they had known for sometime that the company was working on plans to hold a house show tour this Spring.

One talent spoken to reportedly stated that several talents had been pushing AEW officials to hold house show tours so that they could get some in-ring reps under the AEW banner than having to work outside of the company for various reasons.

Another talent spoken to reportedly stated that they believe this will benefit AEW’s younger and inexperienced talent the most and expects to see some creative matchups that will help them along with their growth process. This same talent reportedly praised the reps those same talents get on AEW Dark as being very beneficial for their careers in the company. This same talent reportedly also stated that younger talent getting to work longer matches on the road against more experience talent will also be invaluable for their careers.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that they currently expect these house shows to be filmed. It was reported that it is currently not known if AEW has any plans to distribute or air these upcoming house shows.
