KAIRI Announces Her Contract with Stardom Expired & Her Current Career Plans

A recent episode of the Ten Count podcast featured KAIRI as the guest. One of the topics discussed included KAIRI revealing via her translator that her contract with Stardom recently expired and she is currently a free agent.

“She’s a free agent. She would like to go anywhere possible. She would like to go to the US if there’s a chance to go back again. She’s a free agent.”

On the topic of potential opponents she would want to have matches with in the future, KAIRI stated AEW’s Saraya (former Paige in WWE), Toni Storm, and Jamie Hayter and WWE’s Asuka, IYO SKY, Bayley, and Shayna Baszler as her choices.

Impact Announces Date & Location for Slammiversary 2023

Friday’s Sacrifice 2023 event for Impact Wrestling featured Impact announcing that this year’s Slammiversary event will be taking place on July 15th at the St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

It was also announced that Impact! tapings for the fallout of their Sacrifice 2023 event will be taking place on July 16th at the same venue.

Nigel McGuinness recently announced that he will be holding spoken word magic show called Celebration: A Magical Homage to Pro Wrestling on March 30th at the Illusion Magic Lounge in Santa Monica, California.

Friday’s Sacrifice 2023 event for Impact Wrestling in Windsor, Canada featured Impact airing a teaser vignette revealing that indie wrestler Jody Threat will be making her official debut soon for the company.

Friday’s Sacrifice 2023 event for Impact also featured Tasha Steelz making her surprise return to the company. Following Deonna Purrazzo’s victory over Gisele Shaw at the event, Shaw, Savannah Evans, and Jai Vidal launched a sneak attack on Purrazzo. Steelz made a surprise appearance confronting Evans and attacking her and Vidal to help save Purrazzo.

Impact also recently announced two new matches for the card of their Impact x NJPW Multiverse United event on March 30th in Los Angeles, California:

  • PCO, Sami Callihan, Fred Rosser, & Alex Coughlin vs. Eddie Edwards, Joe Hendry, JR Kratos, & “Filthy” Tom Lawlor
  • Masha Slamovich vs. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Gisele Shaw vs. Miyu Yamashita

Major League Wrestling recently announced that Calvin Tankman, Mance Warner, Matthew Justice, and 1 Called Manders are the next official competitors for the Battle Riot match at their Battle Riot V event on April 8th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

MLW also recently announced two new matches for the card of their War Chamber event on April 6th in New York City, New York:

  • Opera Cup 2023 Tournament First Round match – Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs. Calvin Tankman

Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that Paul London is the next official inductee for this year’s Indie Hall of Fame class. It was not revealed who will be inducting Modest at their Indie Hall of Fame ceremony on April 2nd in Los Angeles.

GCW also recently announced that Nina Mack will be making an appearance at their The Way I Am event on May 20th in Detroit, Michigan and I Can’t Save You event on May 21st in Columbus, Ohio.
