WWE: Bray Wyatt WrestleMania 39 Update, Sarray on WWE Departure, A&E WWE Ratings

Bray Wyatt WrestleMania 39 Status Update

As noted before, Bray Wyatt is currently dealing with an undisclosed “physical illness” which has resulted in him being pulled from WWE programming and house show events for the foreseeable future. Wyatt’s status for his match against Bobby Lashley at next month’s WrestleMania 39 event was not known.

Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that WWE officials currently expect Wyatt to return in time for next month’s WrestleMania 39 event. WWE officials reportedly also currently still are planning for Wyatt to face off against Lashley at the event.

Meltzer reported that his sources also confirmed that Wyatt’s recent absence is not due to anything creative-related but did not provide any other additional details due to it being something he is “not at liberty to discuss.”

Sarray Issues Statement on Her Departure from WWE

As noted before, NXT talent Sarray departed from WWE last week. Sarray’s departure was believed to be due to lingering backstage issues with the creative direction of her career in the company.

During a press conference held on Monday in Japan, Sarray confirmed that she will be returning to her prior work as a freelancer in Japan and will be performing under her prior ring name of Sareee.
