WWE: Steve Austin on No Plans Yet for Him at WM 39, Konnan Confirms Mysterio Induction Talks, HoF 2023 Update

Steve Austin Comments on “Hasn’t Heard Anything Yet” for WrestleMania 39 Match

As noted before, WWE has been working on several plans for Stone Cold Steve Austin to compete in a potential match at next month’s WrestleMania 39 event in Inglewood, California.

A recent episode of The Wrestling Classic podcast featured Austin as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Austin stating that he has not heard anything yet from WWE regarding a potential match for him at WrestleMania 39. Austin also stated that he would rather his spot at the event be given to someone currently on WWE’s roster instead.

I haven’t heard anything yet. We’re about two weeks away. It’s the biggest show of the year. Right now, WWE has as good of a roster as they’ve had since the Attitude Era. They have a deep roster. There are so many guys and gals who need those coveted spots. They have plenty of names and talent from draw from. They should shine the light and cameras on the current superstars.

Austin also gave his thoughts on if he will be making an appearance at the event.

To be determined.
