April 28th AEW Ranpage Show to Air at Earlier Start Time

The April 28th episode of AEW Rampage reportedly is currently scheduled to air at an earlier start time than usual, according to the Wrestling Observer.

Dave Meltzer reported that AEW’s Rampage show will be starting at an earlier start time of 5:30PM EST due to TNT’s current commitments and coverage for the 2023 NHL Playoffs on their network that night. This was later confirmed by TNT after a recent update to their programming schedule on their official website.

This will be the third week in a row that AEW’s Rampage will be preempted from its normal time slot due to NHL and NBA Playoffs related coverage on TNT.

Hangman Adam Page Comments on Benefits of AEW Running House Show Events

WFXR FOX held a recent interview with Hangman Adam Page. One of the topics discussed included Page’s thoughts on the benefits of AEW starting to run house show events for the company.

“They’re a good opportunity for younger guys to learn. They’re a good opportunity for guys like me to let our hair down, have fun, not worry about the constraints of television. So I’m really excited about that. It’s a good opportunity to visit somewhere like Roanoke, like Salem. Maybe it’s a test and if it does really well, maybe we come back with TV the next time.”
