AEW: Skye Blue Signing, Jeff Hardy Underwent Eye Surgery, All In Tickets Waiting List Hits 35,000

Skye Blue Signs Contract with AEW

AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Friday that Skye Blue recently signed an official contract with the company.

Following Khan’s announcement, Blue reflected on Twitter about being signed to an official contract with AEW.

Prior to her signing, Blue has been working in AEW since April of 2021, primarily for their AEW Dark and Dark Elevation shows.

Jeff Hardy Underwent Eye Surgery

As noted before, Jeff Hardy has been out of action for AEW since this past June due to his current suspension from a drunk driving arrest this past June in Volusia County, Florida. Hardy’s legal case was closed this past February resulting in Hardy being sentenced to a 10 year suspended driver’s license, two years probation, a monetary fine, and court mandated community service and DUI or drug rehab program.

A recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast featured co-host Matt Hardy providing an update on the status of his brother Jeff. Matt stated that Jeff recently underwent and is currently recovering from eye surgery.

“He just had some eye surgery and he’s recovering, probably a few weeks out from being fully physically cleared but hopefully sooner than later he’ll be up for doing stuff physically again.

He did sneak away with his family and go on a little vacation for a few days, which is nice. He’s in a real good place in life. I think he’s very happy where he’s at and it makes me very proud of him and it also fills me with joy that he’s happy with where he’s at in life.”
